The Matrix program was founded on the principle that scientific findings can be easily translated, explained, and used by clients and their families. As scientific advances are made, the latest information is incorporated into the Matrix treatment programs.
Reinforcing positive behaviors during treatment has been shown to be highly effective in achieving a variety of substance abuse treatment goals. Matrix uses this principle in all of the treatment programs.
Clients are offered continuing care groups at Matrix following the intensive phase of treatment. Individuals who stay connected by attending the continuing care groups have a better chance of achieving long-term recovery.
